Diego Thielemans is engaged in a practice of moving image and collage. Gleaning materials and organizing them are at the heart of these practices. The resulting forms are diverse; printed posters, paintings, videos, small sculptures and sculptural furniture.
In addition to his personal practice, Diego Thielemans founded MULTIPLEXE with Benjamin De Backer, a curatorial project and collective sculpture in permanent evolution.
His current interests are the multiple names of water and flowers, collective learning in printmaking, the rationalised waste of time in intensive work and images of constellations of images.
